Centralizer Stop Collars

1.Application and characteristic of Centralizer Stop Collars:

A device utilized to restrict the slip of centralizers or cement baskets on a casing, commonly known as a position ring, stop circular, brake ring, etc. This device comes in three types: mobile screw-type, fixed screw-type, and buckle-type. Its main function is to limit the axial movement of the centralizer or cement basket on the casing during the cementing process.

2. Install and use the method of Centralizer Stop Collars:

a. When using the mobile screw-type stop collar, slip it over the casing and use a wrench to tighten the screws.

b. When using the fixed screw stop collar, put the collar around the casing, insert the screw, and use a hammer to tap the screw into place.

c. When installing a buckle-type stop collar, buckle the stop collar onto the casing and lock it with a pin. Then, use a hammer to tap the screws into place.
